Director of Admissions / UM
A native of Chalmette, LA, Jonathan moved in 2006 to Lafayette where he met his wife, Christie, and began his career as a nurse. Entering the field of mental health in 2011, Jonathan found through providing direct care at Vermilion Hospital his passion for helping those struggling with mental illness and addictive disorders. Eager to learn more and provide further positive impact on patient outcomes he transitioned into clinical services as a case manager/discharge planner; where he worked with various populations of chronic mentally ill, impaired professionals, adolescents, and active-duty military and veterans. After several years in this role and building on the connections formed and a greater understanding of the resources and healthcare continuum, the opportunity arose to expand his knowledge and improve patients access to care by overseeing the Admissions and Utilization Management departments at Acadiana Addiction Center; residential and outpatient substance use disorder facility. Experiencing the larger impact he was able to impart in this role, Jonathan continued on this path by transitioning in 2019 to join the team at Victory, giving back every day to a program and population he holds near and dear to his heart.
An avid car enthusiast and jack of all trades, in his personal time he enjoys traveling with his wife and working in the garage with his son and daughter, Lincoln & Finley.
