Rachel Broussard, LCSW

Rachel Broussard, LCSW, is the Clinical Director at Victory Addiction Recovery Center and a licensed clinical social worker with over six years of focused experience in addiction recovery. Rachel’s deep compassion and evidence-based approach to care have helped countless individuals find stability and healing from substance use disorders.

She earned her undergraduate degree in social work from Louisiana College in 2003 and completed her Master of Social Work at Louisiana State University in 2004. Rachel joined Victory in 2020 as a primary counselor and steadily rose through the ranks, earning the trust of both patients and peers as a leader in compassionate clinical care.

 

Clinical Leadership & Experience:

Rachel brings a well-rounded background in social work to her leadership role, with previous experience in hospice care, oncology, acute inpatient mental health, and private practice. This diverse clinical foundation gives her unique insight into the emotional and psychological challenges that accompany addiction.

As Clinical Director, Rachel oversees program development, clinical supervision, and therapeutic strategy at Victory. She is EMDR-trained and provides trauma-informed counseling to clients who have experienced complex trauma alongside substance use challenges.

Rachel is deeply committed to creating a healing environment that prioritizes dignity, emotional safety, and long-term recovery. Her leadership has helped establish Victory Addiction Recovery Center as a place where individuals and families in Acadiana can access high-quality, comprehensive treatment.

Outside of her professional work, Rachel remains actively involved in advancing trauma-informed care and supporting emerging social workers in the field of behavioral health.
