Continuing Care

Just as any chronic illness requires lifelong attention and maintenance, addiction recovery is also an ongoing process that must be addressed head-on. Clients at Victory Addiction Recovery Center learn the tools they need to begin their recovery. These tools provide a solid foundation to a life of recovery, but additional steps must be taken to ensure that the growth continues.

Victory’s commitment to our clients continues well after graduation from our residential program. Post-discharge planning begins as soon as a client is admitted to our program. This planning might include our aftercare group, which meets Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. These complementary meetings allow clients to build their network of sobriety and share their experiences in a group setting. Aftercare may also include 12-step meetings, Trac9 relapse prevention program, sober living communities, individual and family therapists, psychiatrists, nutritionists and other specialty therapists.

We also offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which provides individual, group, and family therapy sessions. IOP meets three nights a week, but individual schedules can be discussed with our counselors. In addition, we help connect our clients with aftercare support in their hometown if travel to Lafayette isn’t viable.

We invite clients and their families to join our alumni program, which holds regular events and socials.
