Victory Addiction Recovery Center provides dual diagnosis treatment in Louisiana and is designed to help individuals get started on the road to lasting recovery.
If you or someone you love are battling alcohol and drug abuse along with a mood disorder, such as depression, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, finding the right treatment program is crucial to successful recovery. Many treatment centers are equipped to deal with addiction but may lack the knowledge and experience to provide dual diagnosis clients with the care they need. VARC’s dual diagnosis treatment center in Louisiana goes above and beyond.
We treat the whole person–mind, body and spirit–and address any underlying issues that need to be managed.
Victory’s dual diagnosis treatment center in Louisiana offers a complete range of services, including detoxification, inpatient treatment and an outpatient program. Alcohol and drug detox is our most intensive phase of treatment and takes place, when necessary, right away. Clients will be monitored 24/7 by our expert medical team, ensuring that their experience is both safe and comfortable. After detox, or in the event detoxification is not a necessary step, individuals can be placed in our inpatient treatment program. Individual, group and gender-specific therapy sessions will help clients begin to heal mentally and emotionally.
The inpatient phase can last up to 45 days or be as short as two weeks, depending on the specific needs of each client.
At our dual diagnosis treatment center in Louisiana, we understand that each person is different, and we individualize treatment programs to see to those needs. During their time as an inpatient client, individuals will have access to spirituality and meditation groups, physical training, dietary guidance, and 12-Step meetings. The last phase of treatment we offer is our intensive outpatient program. This particular phase is designed to offer clients continued support as they reintegrate back into their lives. Sessions are offered in the evening to help facilitate reintegration. Some of the classes are similar to our inpatient program, but relapse prevention and education classes are added to equip clients with the tools and confidence necessary to navigate early recovery and nurture their personal recovery programs.
Recovering from addiction alone can seem like an impossible task. When you add a secondary concern into the equation, people’s hope often burns out.
